Next sunday the beautiful Blakelands Country House will be opening their doors to host the ‘I do .. IN VINTAGE’ wedding fayre organised by the lovely Eve (a photographer) and Victoria (designs, bakes and decorates wedding cakes).

I was lucky enough to be involved in their promotional photo shoot back in june so I got to see the stunning surroundings of Blakelands Country House myself. Set in idyllic countryside it has an old creaky charm but with all the luxury that you would expect from a top hotel. The main house built in 1638 provides a perfect back drop to anyone wanting to add a bit of character to their wedding. So use this as an excuse to come and see the house for yourself as well wander around and chat to all those amazing vintage exhibitors.

Make sure you visit the ‘Blue Room’ as that is where I will be with the SGR Vintage Hair & Makeup stand alongside Luxe Bridal who sell the most amazing vintage wedding dresses.
